Professor Tom Funkhouser elected ACM Fellow

Thomas Funkhouser, the David M. Siegel Professor of Computer Science has been elected an ACM Fellow "for research contributions in computer graphics".   The Association for Computing Machinery--the leading scholarly and professional society in Computer Science--recognizes approximately 50 members per year "for their outstanding accomplishments in computing and information technology and/or outstanding service to ACM and the larger computing community."

Also elected as ACM Fellows
Tom Leighton, an undergraduate alumnus of Princeton CS, was elected ACM Fellow "for his leadership in the establishment of content delivery networks, and his contributions to algorithm design."

Avi Wigderson, a PhD alumnus of Princeton CS, was elected ACM Fellow "for contributions to theoretical computer science and mathematics."
