Professor Jennifer Rexford wins 2018 SIGCOMM award

Jennifer Rexford, Gordon Y.S. Wu Professor of Engineering and Department Chair of Computer Science has won the 2018 SIGCOMM Award for Lifetime Contribution.

Professor Rexford is recognized for her fundamental and practical contributions to making the Internet more reliable and predictable, and for her outstanding mentoring and community service.

The annual SIGCOMM Award, presented at the SIGCOMM Technical Conference, recognizes lifetime contribution to the field of communication networks.  Award winners receive a honorarium of US $2,000 and a crystal trophy.  She will also deliver the keynote at the start of the SIGCOMM conference this August in Budapest, Hungary.
