Congratulations to Princeton professors Nick Feamster and Arvind Narayana and their students Sarthak Grover and Steven Englehardt for winning 2015 Data Transparency Lab grants!  These grants provide 50,000 Euro for research and tools that help us understand how online services use personal data.  Feamster and Grover plan to study the tradeoff between data privacy and service functionality while Narayana and Englehardt will be looking to develop new tools for reverse-engineering systems that track user browsing habits.
